Police: CVS robber was store employee

Police are looking for a CVS employee accused of tying up the manager at the store where he worked and robbing the business.

Montgomery County police said 39-year-old Reginald Lasley worked at the CVS located at 825 Wayne Ave. in Silver Spring. Lasley entered the manager’s office at about 8:10 a.m. on Feb. 12, threatened the manager with a knife and tied him up, then took cash from the office and fled, according to police.

Police have been unable to find Lasley over the past two weeks and are asking for the public’s help. He is believed to still be in the D.C. area, authorities said.

Lasley is described as black, 6 feet 2 inches tall and 220 pounds. Anyone who has information about his whereabouts is asked to call police at 240-773-5100 or Crime Solvers at 866-411-TIPS (8477) or 240-773-8477. Tipsters can also send a text message to CRIMES (274637).
