Police: Loudoun man kills girlfriend, self

New York police are trying to determine what led a Loudoun County man to kill his girlfriend at her brother’s home before turning a gun on himself. Authorities say Vincent Russo, 26, of Ashburn, repeatedly shot Ramy Jacildo, 22, of the Philippines with a .40-caliber handgun early Saturday morning at the home of Jacildo’s brother in Central Valley, 45 miles north of New York City. Police say Russo then shot himself in the head. Police say Russo had traveled to New York on Friday to meet her parents, also visiting from the Philippines.
