Daniel Kittrell is a budding rapper known as Eezy Money whose debut album “You Ain’t Like Me” boasts of growing up on the streets of D.C. and being in the “drug game.”
U.S. marshals say Kittrell’s involvement in the drugs is no game, and he is wanted for violating his probation on crack cocaine distribution charges in the District. He escaped from his halfway house in January, and he hasn’t been seen since.
Members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force are asking the public to help bring him to justice.
“Kittrell is a menace to the community, his art imitates his life,” Deputy U.S. Marshal Antonio Gause told The Washington Examiner.
Kittrell, 25, might be affiliated with So Street Entertainment and has performed in D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Florida and New Jersey. He is also known to hang out in the Trinidad area in Northeast Washington.
Because of his drug ties, Kittrell has violent tendencies and should be considered dangerous, marshals deputies said.
Kittrell has a record dating back to 2007, including arrests for crack distribution, driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.
Kittrell is described as 5 feet 8, 160 pounds with long dreadlocks.
Marshals are asking the public for information that will help with his capture. Tips from Examiner readers have directly led to the arrest of 30 fugitives since the Crime & Punishment page debuted less than three years ago. A tipster last weekend provided information that led to the arrest of Kendrick Phillips, who cut off his ankle-monitor bracelet and fled after he was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a 16-year-old in Southeast Washington.
Anyone with information regarding Kittrell’s whereabouts is urged to call Gause at the U.S. Marshals Service at 301-489-1717, or 800-336-0102.
The Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, run by the U.S. Marshals Service, is composed of 30 federal, state and local agencies from Baltimore to Norfolk. The Unit has captured more than 33,000 wanted fugitives since its creation in 2004.
