Brothers go missing from Prince William

Prince William County police are searching for two brothers who disappeared earlier this month.

Manuel De Jesus Mireles Garcia, 32, and his 31-year-old brother, Alberto Mireles Garcia, were last seen at their Triangle apartment by a family member on May 10. When they didn’t show up for their construction jobs in Woodbridge two days later, their close-knit family became concerned, police said.

They were reported missing on May 12 after family members found the brothers’ cars in their apartment building’s parking lot on the 18700 block of Fuller Heights Road.

“They don’t do drugs, they’re not involved in questionable activities,” said police spokeswoman Officer Erika Hernandez. “It’s very unusual for them. They’re not the type of people go away without telling anyone.”

Hernandez said their apartment was not disturbed.

“We haven’t ruled out anything in this case,” she said when asked if police were considering foul play in the brothers’ disappearance.

Manuel Garcia is 5-foot-4 and weighs about 120 pounds. He has short brown hair and hazel eyes. Alberto Garcia is 5-foot-9 and has short black hair and brown eyes.
