Man sentenced to six months in beating death
A 19-year-old man was sentenced to six months in jail for throwing a punch at a gay man that resulted in his death.
Robert Hannah pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault for punching Tony Hunter in September 2007 outside a gay club in the District. Hannah claimed Hunter had inappropriately touched him. The punch knocked Hunter to the ground and his head slammed into the sidewalk.
