Prince William County police have arrested three young people who they say engineered an overnight break-in of a Woodbridge jewelry store and made off with tens of thousands of dollars worth of valuables. Sometime overnight Nov. 2, the thieves entered Darien Jewelers off Prince William Parkway by first cutting through the back entrance of a next-door business with a cutting torch. Once inside the neighboring business, the suspects made holes into the drywall which led to Darien Jewelers. The thieves cut the camera system power cords and telephone lines, and shattered the jewelry cases, stealing about $50,000 in jewelry. Charged were Cody Compton, 20, Jonathan Clark, 20, and Patricia Hodshire, 18, all of Stafford. A photo of Hodshire was unavailable. The three were being detained in Fauquier County on separate charges.
