Montgomery County police have released a computer-generated composite image of a man in an attempted rape and home invasion in Silver Spring.
Police said a man entered a home on the 9400 block of Saybrook Avenue, between Colesville Road and Flower Avenue, and attacked a 56-year-old woman in the the kitchen. The man attemped to remove her clothing. A struggle ensued, and the man fled out the side door of the residence.
The culprit is described as a Hispanic male, 35 to 43 years old, about 5-foot-7, with a medium to stocky build and short, dark, evenly cut hair. He was wearing a gray long-sleeve T-shirt and dark jeans.
