Authorities are looking for two suspects who tried to rob a bank in Forestville last week. According to Prince George’s County police, two men walked into the BB&T bank at 3448 Donnell Drive on March 21 around 1:30 p.m.
One suspect went to a teller and passed a note demanding cash while the other stayed in the lobby. The teller activated the alarm, at which time the men escaped on foot without any money.
The first suspect is between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-9, weighing about 130 pounds. The second suspect is between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-11, weighing 150 pounds. As seen in surveillance photos, both suspects were dressed in dark jackets and jeans. In one released photo, the face of a suspect clad in a North Face jacket is clear. The other suspect’s face is hidden by a billed hat.
The suspects are not believed to be connected to any other robberies, police spokesperson Evan Baxter said. There have been no other notable robberies in Forestville recently.

There is a reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment of a suspect involved in this crime.
