Charlotte County Sheriff Bill Cameron was making his rounds for National Night Out — the citizens and police crime-fighting event — when he drove past the girls as they lifted their shirts and exposed themselves to him and other motorists. When the sheriff turned his vehicle around, he witnessed another passerby, Robert Lee Blevins, stop to snap a picture of the girls with his cell phone.
Cameron confiscated the cell phone and arrested Blevins on a child pornography charge. The girls were charged with indecent exposure.

This was Maxwell’s sixth burglary arrest in three years.
Searching high and low
The good news is that police found a man’s missing 3-year-old boy in the Maine woods. The bad news: They also found the man’s 147 marijuana plants.
Jonathan K. Lehr, 41, was charged with marijuana cultivation and possession, and endangering the welfare of a child.
After a four-hour search by more than 50 people, authorities found the child safe in the woods.
Deputies also found a marijuana growing operation in Lehr’s house and seized nearly 150 marijuana plants, as well as a quarter-pound of marijuana.
