Police are asking for help finding a fugitive who was spotted browsing at a Tysons Corner bookstore over the weekend.
Fairfax County police said 39-year-old Todd Corrado was seen Saturday afternoon at the Barnes & Noble at the Tysons Corner Center. Officers chased him through the mall to an upper-level parking garage to the loading docks, where Corrado continued to elude officers and got away.
Police said in a statement that Corrado is considered “armed and dangerous” and has evaded officers multiple times over the past year. He is wanted on charges that include assault on a police officer, larceny, resisting arrest, speeding to elude police, drunk driving, burglary and drug offenses.
He is described as a white man who is 5 feet 10 inches tall and 160 to 180 pounds. He has dirty blond hair and blue eyes.
Anyone who has information about Corrado’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 703-691-2131 or Crime Solvers at 866-411-TIPS (8477). Tipsters can also send a text message that says “TIP187” plus the information to CRIMES (274637) or submit a tip online at fairfaxcrimesolvers.org.
