Updated 3:12 p.m.: A woman was found shot to death Thursday morning at the H Street Deli she owned, and police believe she was killed during a robbery.
About 6 a.m., employees of Grace Deli in the 700 block of H Street NE found 64-year-old Hae Soon Lim as they were arriving to work. Lt. Robert Alder said Lim was behind the deli’s counter suffering from a single gunshot wound to the neck and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities were trying to determine what was taken. The gate to the deli was open when officers arrived and police did not see any signs of forced entry, Alder said.
As of Thursday mid-afternoon, police did not have any suspect information.
