Gionet livestreamed his entry into the Capitol building during the riot and later uploaded videos to YouTube and Twitter, according to an affidavit from the FBI.
During the clips uploaded online and the livestream, Gionet can be heard saying, “Patriots are in control,” and, “We are in the Capitol Building, 1776 will commence again,” according to the affidavit.
He also allegedly said to a law enforcement officer, “You’re a f***ing oathbreaker you piece of s***,” and, “You broke your oath to the Constitution.”
Gionet is one of hundreds of people being prosecuted for unlawfully entering the Capitol building that day.
