D.C. police investigate stabbing, shooting incidents

D.C. police are reporting an incident in Northeast D.C. in which one man was stabbed and an incident in Southeast D.C. in which two people were shot Thursday morning.

About 1:20 a.m. in the 1600 block of Holbrook Street NE, a man was stabbed several times by a suspect known to him, police said. The victim was hospitalized, but there was no information about the extent of his injuries.

About 1:23 a.m. in the 600 block of Forrester Street SE, two men were shot by an unknown suspect, police said. The men were both taken to the hospital.

Police said they don’t have a reason to believe the incidents are related.
