A 29-year-old D.C. man was sentenced to more than three years in prison for robbing a senior citizen in Northwest Washington.
Reggie Gordon admitted to accosting a 69-year-old man on the afternoon of Feb. 8 in the area of 14th and Newton streets NW. Gordon pulled a knife and demanded, “Give me the bag, give me the cash.”
The victim handed over a bag, which contained cigarettes, and took money out of his pockets and handed it to Gordon.
After Gordon fled, the victim flagged police, who soon stopped Gordon and arrested him.
