Woman fatally shoots self at Fairfax Target A woman shot and killed herself Tuesday morning at a Fairfax County Target store, police said.

Officers received a report of gunshots at the Target store at 10301 New Guinea Road in Burke at about 11:30 a.m., said Officer Don Gotthardt, a police spokesman.

Target spokeswoman Molly Snyder wrote in an email that the woman was a customer and the store “would like to share that our thoughts and sympathies are with the guest’s family during this difficult time.”
