Few leads have surfaced in the case of two Prince William County brothers who vanished nearly two years ago.
Authorities began looking into the disappearance of Alberto Mireles-Garcia and Manuel de Jesus Mireles-Garcia the morning of May 12, 2010, after family members reported to police that the brothers were missing. The pair had been last seen on May 10 at about 10 p.m.
Police found their vehicles at their apartment on the 18700 block of Fuller Heights Road in Triangle. But investigators never found their keys or identification, and searches of their residence yielded no leads about what might have happened, according to Prince William County Crime Solvers, which is offering a reward for information in the case.
Both brothers were from Triangle and didn’t typically go to other areas, authorities said.
Alberto Mireles-Garcia would be 35 years old now; Manuel Mireles-Garcia would now be 34 years old. Both are Hispanic.
Alberto is described as about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 160 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Manuel is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and 120 pounds. He has brown hair that may be shaved and hazel eyes.
Anyone who has information about their disappearance is asked to call Prince William County Crime Solvers at 703-670-3700 or 866-411-TIPS (8477). Tipsters could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
