A Capitol Heights man who was wanted for an armed carjacking in Prince George’s County was arrested Monday, authorities said.
Calvin Pettaway, 22, faces charges including armed carjacking and assault, according to the Prince George’s County Sheriff’s Office.
On Aug. 9, Pettaway pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded his vehicle in the 1000 block of 59th Avenue in Seat Pleasant. The victim complied and Pettaway fled the scene.
Sheriff’s deputies located Pettaway in the 4800 block of Addison Road in Capitol Heights on Monday and apprehended him without incident.
