Two shot, one killed, in Southeast shootings

Two men were shot in Southeast Washington overnight in separate incidents and one of them was killed, police said.

The homicide was reported about 11:20 p.m. Tuesday, D.C. police said. Officers went to the 3300 block of 14th Place SE and found a man unconscious suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police said there was a lookout for a small, black four-door vehicle.

Another shooting occurred about 11:15 p.m. in the 600 block of 53rd Street SE. A vehicle pulled up and started shooting, and a man was shot in the arm. He was taken to a hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries, police said.
