School volunteer turns self in on sex charge

A 75-year-old volunteer at a Fairfax elementary school has been accused of inappropriately touching two children at the school, according to Fairfax County police.

George Ball, of the 5900 block of Mount Eagle Drive, has turned himself in to police. He is charged with two counts of aggravated sexual battery.

Fairfax County police allege that Ball inappropriately touched two students at Groveton Elementary School in May. Both of the students were 7 years old at the time, police said.

Ball is a volunteer and worked with children at the school, which is located on the 6900 block of Harrison Lane, police said.
