Prince George’s County police are looking for two men armed with semi-automatic handguns who robbed a string of businesses over the weekend.
Authorities believe the two committed at least six robberies in Prince George’s between Friday and Sunday, and are investigating whether they are also responsible for armed robberies in the District last week.
The robberies happened:
- At the Shell gas station on the 13800 block of Annapolis Road in Bowie on Friday
- At the Safeway gas station on the 12400 block of Fairwood Parkway in Glenn Dale on Saturday
- At the McDonald’s at 20 Ritchie Road in Capitol Heights on Saturday
- At the Chesapeake Market on the 13800 block of Annapolis Road on Sunday
- At the 7-Eleven on the 7400 block of Central Avenue in Capitol Heights on Sunday
- At the 7-Eleven at 22 Watkins Park Drive in Kettering on Sunday
Police said the men have been wearing masks and parking a newer-model gray Dodge Charger near the businesses.
