A 9-year-old boy was found safe in Reno, Nev., after he was allegedly taken by his non-custodial mother in Prince George’s County, police said.
Maryland State Police issued an Amber Alert Thursday for Dodge Park Elementary School student Wuilbert Caceres Garcia, Prince George’s County officials said.
The boy was allegedly taken from the Landover school Thursday morning by his mother, Silvia Guadalupe Garcia, officials said.
About 3:30 a.m. today, Prince George’s County Public Schools announced that the Amber Alert had been cancelled. Police said the boy was found in Reno in good health, and that his mother is in custody in the city.
