A Hyattsville boy who police say was abducted by his mother in 1997 has never been located.

Authorities say Christopher Fulcher was just 2 years old when his mother was charged in Prince George’s County with child abduction in July 1997.

The warrant for the arrest of Sandra Guillermina Fulcher remains open, according to court records.

Records indicate that Christopher’s parents were going through a divorce and Sandra Fulcher did not receive custody of the boy.

No information was available about where the two might have fled or any vehicle they might be using.

Christopher Fulcher would be 17 years old now.

At the time of the abduction, he was described as Hispanic, 3 feet tall and 34 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Sandra Fulcher would now be 47. She uses the nicknames Sandy and Mina and might be using the alias last names Blanco or Blanco-Fajardo, according to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System.

When the pair went missing, she was described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and about 120 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
