Domestic dispute turns to shooting in Prince George’s

A domestic dispute in Temple Hills early Sunday morning escalated to a shooting once police arrived on the scene. Nobody was injured.

Prince George’s County Police responded to the 4600 block of Keating Street at 4 a.m. Sunday after receiving a call about the dispute between a man and a woman, according to Cpl. Evan Baxter, a police spokesman. When the man attempted to flee the scene, police confronted him, and the confrontation escalated, prompting one officer to fire his gun.

The suspect managed to escape the scene. No arrests have been made, and the police have not yet released a description of the suspect.

The cause of the dispute is under investigation.
