Loudoun County man shot to death in home

A Loudoun County man was found shot to death Friday night in his home in Sterling, the victim of a domestic homicide.

Police said Steven Spradling, 52, was shot around 9 p.m.,in his home, located in the 21700 block of Blossom Drive. His wife, Rosangela Spradling, 42, has been charged with first degree murder in connection with his death.

Steven Spradling was a member of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority police force.

Two children were in the home at the time of the shooting, but were unharmedd. They are staying with family friends.
