A 29-year-old Gaithersburg woman was pulled into the woods near the Upper County Pool and Recreation Center in Gaithersburg and raped Tuesday night, Montgomery County police said.

The woman had gone out for a walk when a black man in his 40s approached her, pulled her into a wooded area, raped her and ran off. The woman immediately called police who brought a K-9 unit, officers on foot and a state police helicopter to search for the suspect.
