Possible components of meth manufacturing found in Northwest D.C.

Police found components that could be used to manufacture methamphetamine while executing a search warrant in the Adams Morgan area, officials said.

Officers went to the 1800 block of Summit Place NW on Wednesday night and found the components, D.C. police spokesman Officer Anthony Clay said. Officers were executing a search warrant for drugs, but Clay said he didn’t believe the warrant was for the possible meth manufacturing.

A man was arrested in connection with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, Clay said.
