A 41-year-old Rockville man was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday night, Montgomery County police said.
At about 8:40 p.m. Sunday, Saharath Rochanavichit was heading north on Great Seneca Highway near High Gables Drive, police said. A crash investigation determined that Rochanavichit struck a curb, fell from the motorcycle and hit a light pole on the side of the road.
Rochanavichit was taken to Suburban Hospital, where he later died.
Montgomery County police are still investigating why Rochanavichit hit the curb in the first place. Anyone who saw the crash should call the county’s Collision Reconstruction Unit at 301-840-2435.
