Montgomery County police are continuing to search for the man who robbed a Silver Spring Subway restaurant at gunpoint earlier this month. Recently released surveillance video shows a man entering the restaurant at 8040 13th St., brandishing a silver revolver, jumping over the counter and forcing a cashier to open the register.
The robber fled on foot after obtaining cash, police said. Authorities didn’t disclose the amount.
The robbery happened about 7:40 p.m. July 2.
The robber is described as a black man who is about 30 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 230 to 250 pounds. Anyone with information can call police at 240-773-5100 or Crime Solvers at 866-411-TIPS (8477) or 240-773-8477.
