Prince George’s County police said an Oxon Hill man has been arrested for allegedly trying to kill a woman in a domestic dispute. Police said the woman was shot on the 7900 block of Oxon Hill Road on Dec. 13 and 24-year-old Jerry W. Williams fled from the scene in his vehicle.
Willliams was apprehended several days later after police found his unoccupied Ford Taurus on the 2000 block of North Anvil Lane. He was arrested when he returned to the vehicle.
Williams has been charged with attempted murder and is being held without bond.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 14.
