The FBI is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed the Andrews Credit Union in the District earlier this month.<br/><small><a href=”http://maps.google.com/maps?q=1556+Alabama+Ave.+SE&oe=utf-8&client=seamonkey-a&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=1556+Alabama+Ave+SE,+Washington,+District+of+Columbia,+20032&gl=us&t=m&vpsrc=0&ll=38.846927,-76.990299&spn=0.013369,0.01708&z=14&iwloc=A&source=embed” style=”color:#0000FF;text-align:left”>View Larger Map</a></small></div> <p><span class=”BodyCopy”>The man entered the bank located at 1556 Alabama Ave. SE at 10:15 a.m. on Jan. 13, threatening violence if employees did not meet his demands for money. After obtaining an undetermined amount of cash, he fled the area on foot. </span></p> <p><span class=”BodyCopy”>The man implied that he carried a weapon, but did not actually show one, FBI spokeswoman Jacqueline Maguire told </span><span style=”font-style:italic;” class=”BodyCopy”>The Washington Examiner</span><span class=”BodyCopy”>. He is considered dangerous, according to the FBI’s report. </span></p> <p><span class=”BodyCopy”>Maguire said no one was injured in the incident.</span></p> <p><span class=”BodyCopy”>The robber is described as a black man about 21 to 30 years old, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches and 150 to 180 pounds. During the robbery, he wore a white hooded jacket, bluejeans, a black knit cap and dark sunglasses.</span></p> <p><span class=”BodyCopy”>Officers have not identified any suspects.</span></p> <p><span class=”BodyCopy”>Anyone with information regarding the incident can call Special Agent John Dunham and/or MPD Detective Buddy Baylor at the FBI’s Washington Field Office at 202-278-2000.</span></p>
