An Annandale man was beaten, robbed and tied to a tree in Accotink Park, where he remained for four hours before being discovered by Fairfax County police responding to reports of a man yelling for help, police said.
The 34-year-old man was found around 3 a.m. Wednesday. He told police that earlier in the evening he had dined at a restaurant in Brookfield Plaza with his two attackers, although, police said, he didn’t know their names.
The two suspects were described as Hispanic, between 20 and 40 years old. One was approximately 6-foot-2, thin with a goatee and black baseball cap, the other was about 5-foot-8 and weighed between 170 and 190 pounds.
They had a gun and took the victim’s wallet, police said.
Anyone with information should call 866-TIPS/8477.
