Police are investigating how a man who was found unconscious outside his Woodbridge home suffered his injuries.
Prince William County police said the 29-year-old man returned to his residence on the 12800 block of Tumbling Brook Lane at about 3:15 a.m. Saturday and knocked on the door. When another resident answered the door to let him in, the man was found unconscious.
Police said the man, who was not identified, had suffered severe head injuries and authorities don’t know how he was injured.
The investigation is continuing, authorities said.
