Police investigate Bristow home invasion, sex assault Police are looking for the man who forced his way into a Bristow home and sexually assaulted a woman.
Prince William County police said the attack occurred shortly before 11 a.m. Friday on the 12000 block of Infantry Lane. A 38-year-old woman said a man forced his way inside and sexually assaulted her.
The suspect is described as a black man with a muscular build in his 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and 180 to 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white polo shirt, light blue jeans and yellow or tan work boots.
Wounded suspect charged in botched home invasion-robbery
A man shot and wounded in a botched home invasion-robbery that left another suspect dead has been charged according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said 32-year-old Scott A. Walker, of West Virginia, is charged with attempted robbery while armed and burglary in the Feb. 10 home invasion in Sterling. Authorities allege that Walker, Anthony D. Miles and Samuel T. Eaton broke into a home on the 1200 block of East Kennedy Drive.
Someone inside the home fatally shot Miles and wounded Walker.
Cop released from custody
A Montgomery County police officer accused of using law-enforcement computer databases to help her fiance operate a cocaine ring has been released from custody.
Delores Culmer, 37, will be subject to home confinement, electronic monitoring and is not to have contact with her fiance.
Culmer is accused of accessing law enforcement databases to obtain information about drug associates to help her fiance, who is a convicted drug dealer, track down customers who owed him money.
