Two teens arrested in carjacking

Two teenagers were arrested on carjacking charges after they and a third, unknown person, threatened a man and his wife with baseball bats and then stole their car, Fairfax County police said.

A 31-year-old man and his 25-year-old wife were driving on Buckman Road in Hybla Valley when a Nissan Altima pulled in front of them and three males exited it with baseball bats, police said. One attacker sped off in the couple’s car, but slammed into a parked car. He fled on foot and the remaining suspects, a 15-year-old and 19-year-old Rene Alvarenga were found in the Altima when officers pulled it over, police said.

Shots fired during Dale City argument

A Dale City argument ended in gunfire Friday night, Prince William County police said. No one was injured when several shots were fired on the 5400 block of Saddler Lane while a large group was arguing on the street, police said. Investigators collected several bullet casings from the scene, but no one had been charged by Monday evening.

D.C. police investigate homicide in Southeast

A 47-year-old Maryland man was shot to death on the 2600 block of Naylor Road in Southeast on Sunday evening, District police said. Police identified the shooting victim as Gordon Reaves Rivers of Brandywine. Police are searching for suspects and motive.

Two D.C. men killed in P.G. in separate incidents

Prince George’s County police are investigating the slayings of two men from the District who were killed in separate incidents. Nathan Ronald Neal, 22, was beaten to death early Friday morning on the 1600 block of Brightseat Road in Landover, police said. Friday night, 33-year-old Jerome Andre Fuller Jr., was shot to death on the 300 block of Possum Court in Capitol Heights. Police are searching for suspects and a motive in both cases.
