Police seek information in Northeast D.C. shooting

D.C. police are asking the public for information about a Northeast D.C. shooting.

Authorities want Reynard Cook, 27, for assault with intent to kill, according to a police department poster.

Police suspect Cook in a Feb. 15 shooting that took place around 7:20 p.m. in the 3300 block of Alden Place NE. The victim in the incident was shot multiple times.

Cook — who is also known as Reyvon Stone, Don Fitzgerald Hancock and Demarko Brown — is described as a black male, about 6 foot 3 inches tall  and about 165 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes, a scar on his left hand and a tattoo on his left arm, police said.

Anyone with information or who sees the suspect should call police at (202) 727-9099 or text 50411. Police are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to Cook’s arrest.
