Vasquez is one of six men accused of chasing and killing Edwin Umana outside a large party in July. Vasquez will face a sentence of life in prison. Police: Morgan Harrington’s killer knew area
The person who killed Morgan Harrington was familiar with the area where her body was found, police say. The Virginia Tech student’s remains were found two weeks ago on a remote farm 10 miles from the University of Virginia concert arena where she was last seen three months earlier. Only a person who knew the area likely could have dealt with the property’s obstacles, including streams, fences and changing terrain, state police said. State police have established a new tip line: 434-709-1685.
