Baltimore City police on Sunday said they are investigating the shootings of six people, two of whom died in Baltimore City early Sunday morning.
The two homicides make Baltimore City’s total this year 161, police said.
Lloyd Melton, 21, of the 2500 block of Druid Park Drive, was reported shot in the head and other parts of his body at 2:20 a.m. Sunday outside the Captain James Landing seafood restaurant on the 2100 block of Boston Street, said police spokesman Detective Donny Moses.
Melton was pronounced dead shortly before 3 a.m. at Johns Hopkins Hospital, he said.
A second victim linked to the incident, whose name is not being released because he’s a witness, arrived later at Johns Hopkins with gunshot wounds to his leg, Moses said.
An investigation revealed that an altercation started inside the restaurant and spilled out onto the street where numerous gunshots rang out, he said.
A description of the suspect was not provided.
Shortly after the first incident, around 2:40 a.m., Barry Graham, 24, of the 5800 block of Waycross Road, died along the 700 block of West Lexington Street after multiple gunshots left three other men wounded, Moses said.
An unknown suspect, described as a light-skinned black male, opened fire and struck the four individuals, he said.
The man fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle in an unknown direction.
Police have no suspects or motives for the crime.
