The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information about a reported carjacking that took place Wednesday night in Sterling.
At around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday, a 47-year-old Sterling man was walking back to his car after delivering pizza to an apartment in the 21840 block of Baldwin Square. The victim was approached by an unknown suspect, who assaulted him with a blunt object, took his keys and then took his car —a 1999, four door, Blue Honda Civic — officials said. The victim received medical treatment at the scene.
The suspect was described as a black male in his late teens to early 20s, 5-feet 5-inches to 5-feet 10-inches tall, with a thin build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black baseball hat and jacket, officials said.
