Police are still looking for the man who robbed a Prince George’s County bank at gunpoint during Christmas week. The man entered the SunTrust Bank located on the 2500 block of University Boulevard in Adelphi and displayed a handgun while demanding money from three bank tellers, Prince George’s County police said.
The man then fled on foot after the tellers gave him an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police say no one was injured in the robbery.
The heist happened at about 9:45 a.m. on Dec. 20. No suspects have been identified in the case, said Cpl. Evan Baxter, a Prince George’s County police spokesman.
Police don’t think the incident is connected with any other area robberies or other crimes, Baxter said.
The suspect is described as a black man who is 35 to 45 years old, about 6 feet tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He has a beard.
At the time of the robbery, the man was wearing a brown knit hat, a light brown jacket, light brown pants and dark brown gloves. He was carrying a black handgun.
