ABERDEEN, Md. (AP) — Maryland State Police say officers fatally shot a burglary suspect who rammed several police cars and injured an officer during a pursuit that ended at a rest stop along Interstate 95 in Harford County.
Aberdeen police officers responding to a burglary report early Friday spotted a man fleeing. Police say the man, 29-year-old Rajsaun McCray of Washington, rammed his vehicle into a cruiser, injuring Aberdeen Officer Jason Easton.
During a pursuit involving Aberdeen and state police along I-95, police say McCray rammed several cruisers. Police say the pursuit ended when police fired at McCray along the southbound I-95 entrance to the Maryland House rest area.
