A woman was walking in Columbia Heights early Saturday morning when she was dragged into an alley by a stranger.
Police said the woman was grabbed from behind and dragged into an alley by a Hispanic man around 1:20 a.m. She screamed, and the man fled, running south down the alley.
The crime occurred on the 1400 block of Irving Street Northwest, just a block from the Columbia Heights Metro.
