A man used a stun gun to rob a customer at a drive-through automated teller machine in Germantown, and police are asking the public to help identify the thief. The incident happened about 11 p.m. Monday, at the Bank of America at 19707 Germantown Road.
The victim was withdrawing cash while sitting in his vehicle, when the thief walked up to the driver’s side of the vehicle and threatened him with a stun gun. The victim sped away, and the thief removed the withdrawn cash and ATM card from the machine.
The thief fled on foot. He suspect is described as a white male, 25 to 30 years old, 6 feet tall and 175 pounds.
