Two men were injured in a shooting early this morning in Prince George’s County, police said.
About 2:15 a.m., the victims approached officers who were conducting a traffic stop in the 3700 block of Branch Avenue.
The men told the officers they were in a vehicle at the intersection of Branch Avenue and Beech Road when another vehicle pulled up and the victims were shot inside their car, police spokesman Cpl. Larry Johnson said. The vehicle then drove away, and no description of it was available.
The victims were taken to a hospital in serious condition, but they are now stable, Johnson said.
