Police in West Virginia said a man admitted to marrying his own daughter after helping murder her boyfriend.
Larry McClure, 55, said in a letter to authorities that he and his two daughters, 31-year-old Amanda McClure and 32-year-old Anna Choudhry, planned and carried out the murder of 38-year-old John McGuire, Amanda’s boyfriend.
Police said at a hearing that the three smashed McGuire in the head with a bottle of wine, tied him up, injected him with methamphetamine, and strangled him to death. They then buried him at a residence in West Virginia, according to the Bluefield Daily Telegraph.
According to police, the father, already a registered sex offender, then traveled with Amanda to Virginia, where the two were married at a Methodist church. The father-daughter duo also had sex in the house where McGuire was killed.
“I cannot tell you why Amanda wanted John McGuire dead,” Larry McClure said in the letter, noting that it was her idea to kill her boyfriend. “I am asking for this to be over and not wasting the taxpayers’ money and hurting the family members on both sides of this, John McGuire’s family and my family.”
Police said McClure directed them to the shallow grave where McGuire was buried.
All three family members were charged with first-degree murder.
