Montgomery County police are looking for a 3-foot 11-inch murder suspect.
Henry Chavez, 28, is wanted in the May 27 death of Hamilton Luis Orozco, 27, of Silver Spring. Police said Orozco was with friends outside a home in the 10100 block of Georgia Avenue when he was assaulted.
Anyone with information about Chavez is asked to call police at 240-773-5070.
Senator’s wife pleads guilty
The wife of Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Ind., has pleaded guilty to drunken driving.
Charlene Lugar, 77, admitted to being intoxicated when her vehicle struck a parked car in her McLean neighborhood in November. A judge ordered that she be restricted to driving to volunteer work and alcohol safety classes, and only during the day.
Prosecutors dropped a charge of fleeing the scene of an accident.
Another ‘pack’ robbery arrest
Montgomery County police detectives have arrested a fifth suspect in the group or “pack” robbery that occurred in Aspen Hill on May 5.
Zora D. Backoulas, 23, of Silver Spring, was arrested and charged with first-degree assault, conspiracy to commit a robbery, robbery, and resisting arrest.
On May 5, at 10 p.m., five people beat and robbed the victim in an apartment stairwell in the 13000 block of Georgia Avenue. The victim suffered broken ribs, numerous cuts, contusions, and severe bruising.
