Montgomery police look for Kensington bank robber

Authorities are asking the public to help identify a suspect in a Kensington bank robbery.

About 2 p.m. Tuesday, the robber entered the SunTrust Bank at 3740 University Blvd. West and passed a note to a teller demanding cash. He did not display a weapon. The teller handed over the cash, and the robber fled. The robber was described as a black male, in his 30s, 6 feet tall and 175 pounds. He was wearing a dark jacket, bluejeans and a baseball hat.

Anyone with information on the case can call detectives at 240-773-5100. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers at 866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers pays $1,000 for information that results in an arrest.
