A 31-year-old man was gunned down in Northeast D.C. Saturday evening, according to D.C. police. Robert Plight was found with gunshot wounds about 8:10 p.m. on the 4400 block of Benning Road, which is near 44th Street and the Benning Road Metrorail stop on the Blue Line, according to Metropolitan Police. Plight was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Police had not made any arrests as of Sunday afternoon.
