A Woodbridge man has been charged with child neglect after a 4-year-old boy was found wandering in the street wearing only a diaper.
Prince William County police said the someone called police about the boy shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday. Officers responded to the 14700 block of Endsley Turn and couldn’t find the child’s home, so they took him to a police station.
Two hours later, 48-year-old Ricky Roucka, a relative of the boy, called to report the child missing, authorities said. Officer Jonathan Perok, a police spokesman, would not say how the two were related, saying officials want to protect the child’s privacy.
Roucka has been charged with felony child neglect.
The boy was not injured, Perok said.
