Prince George’s County police have arrested two people in the shooting death of a high school student over the weekend.
Marcus Antonio Jones, 16, was shot early Sunday after leaving a party on Webster Lane. He was walking to his car when he was shot.
Prince George’s County Police Chief Mark Magaw has scheduled a news conference for 4 p.m. Thursday to announce the arrests.
Jones was the fourth Prince George’s County Public Schools student to be killed since August. All of the slayings occurred off school grounds.
