Two to become deputy fire chiefs in Fairfax County

Two longtime members of the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department have been selected to become deputy chiefs in the agency.

Daniel Gray is being promoted to the role of deputy chief for safety and personnel services. In the position, he will handle health and safety, recruitment and personnel for the 1,600-member department.
